Jason L. Pearlman is the founder and managing attorney of The Pearlman Law Firm. He has significant experience as legal counsel in a wide range of complex civil litigation matters, including cases arising from employment disputes, civil rights violations, medical malpractice, automobile and trucking accidents, premises liability, defective products, defamation, as well as commercial and business disputes.  Pearlman has also served as counsel in regulatory investigations and proceedings before various administrative agencies.

 

In addition to litigation, Pearlman also provides general business counsel and consulting services. He has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating contracts and employment agreements for large corporate organizations, associations, small business owners and individuals.

 

During his years practicing law, Pearlman has secured or helped secure tens of millions of dollars for his clients in numerous cases resulting in substantial jury verdicts or settlements. He has also been appellate counsel in several matters involving significant legal issues and precedent-setting decisions, and has successfully argued appeals before the appellate courts in Pennsylvania.


Prior to establishing The Pearlman Law Firm, Pearlman has spent his career practicing law with some of the nation's top trial lawyers. He was selected as a Rising Star in 2012, 2013 and 2014 and as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 by Super Lawyers Magazine, an independent attorney rating service and publication. He previously served as a member of the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice (PaAJ).  He is currently a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA).  Since 2014, he has served as a court-appointed arbitrator in the Philadelphia Court of Commons Pleas compulsory arbitration program, and is also an arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). He has been a presenter at legal education courses and has co-authored a chapter on Mediation in the United States in the book “
Global Perspectives on ADR,” which examined Alternative Dispute Resolution methods employed in legal jurisdictions throughout the world.

 

Pearlman earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from the Pennsylvania State University in 2001. He graduated cum laude from New York Law School in 2004, where he served as Associate Editor of the New York Law School Law Review. In 2011, Pearlman earned an LL.M. in Trial Advocacy from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law.

 

He is admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts in Pennsylvania and has been admitted pro hac vice in other state and federal district courts.

He is also researching and writing about his grandfather's experience serving in World War II as an airplane mechanic in the United States Army, which he plans to publish one day.
